Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of facilities, services, and events provided by Babylon (“the Club”). By entering, attending, or participating in any Club event, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Eligibility

• Attendees must be 21 years of age or older and provide valid photo identification during our membership process
• Entry is only granted with valid membership and pre-booked entry
• Membership and entry are restricted to individuals who are legally permitted to participate in consensual adult activities in the jurisdiction of the Club.
• The Club reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate membership at its sole discretion, without notice nor explanation, nor refunded.

Consent & Conduct

• Consent is mandatory. All physical contact must be mutually agreed upon
• No means no – any violation will result in immediate removal and potential banning, and if required, will be reported to the relevant authorities
• Aggressive, threatening, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated
• Photography, video recording, or audio recording is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved in writing by Club management
   

Privacy & Confidentiality

• Members and guests must respect the privacy of others at all times.
• Names, personal details, and experiences shared within the Club must remain confidential. 
• Staff and management will not disclose member information except where required by law.

We are proud to work closely with Northumbria Police and the local authority, to ensure our club is the safest possible venue.  CCTV is in operation within all communal areas.  CCTV will only be viewed or shared with the relevant authorities in relation to any crime or investigation.

By entering the premises, you acknowledge and confirm you are not attending/entering our premises under any professional capacity (this includes but is not restricted to Council Workers, Police, civil servants, journalists/reporters, etc).  By entering you abide by these rules, you agree information regarding the club and its members will not be shared, acted upon or reported and are aware legal action will be taken against you and/or your organisation, should this not be adhered to. 

Health & Safety
 

• Attendees are responsible for their own health and sexual well-being
• Safe sex practices are strongly encouraged; the Club provides  condoms and sanitising products
• Anyone displaying signs of illness, intoxication, or unsafe behaviour may be refused entry or removed from the premises, without refund
• Illegal substances and activities are strictly prohibited.  We have a strict absolute zero policy regarding drug use.  Anyone using/carrying any illegal substances will be removed and their membership revoked
• As per security protocols, you may be asked to consent to bag/person searches. Refusal will result in non-admittance to the venue and no refunds will be given
• By attending our events, you confirm you relieve Babylon (its premises, owners and all associated within the business) of any responsibilities, regarding your own individual health, safety, and your belongings
   

Dress Code

• Guests must adhere to the Club’s dress code policy, which may vary depending on event themes
• Nudity is permitted only in designated areas.
   

Membership & Fees

• All membership fees, event fees, and purchases are non-refundable
• Membership is personal and non-transferable. Membership and/or entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Membership does not guarantee entry.  Due to the popularity of the venue and limited capacity, Pre-booking is always advisable.
   

Liability Waiver

• The Club accepts no liability for injury, loss, theft, or damage to persons or personal property
• By entering the premises, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of adult social interaction
• You release the Club, its owners, and staff from any and all claims arising from your attendance
   

Rules & Policy Changes

• The Club reserves the right to update these Terms at any time
• Members will be notified of significant changes on the website. Members are encouraged to check these on a regular basis for any updates
• Continued attendance after changes constitutes acceptance of any revised/updated Terms and conditions.
   

By applying for membership and subsequently attending our venue, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined above, in addition to our Codes of Conduct.
